Welcome to Chessions! By accessing this website (chessions.online), you agree to these terms and conditions. Do not continue to use Chessions if you do not agree to all terms stated on this page.

1. Services Provided

Chessions provides digital chess tools including game analysis (Stockfish engine), Image-to-FEN converter, puzzle training, video export, and template tools. Services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis.

Certain features require a paid Premium subscription. Details of the subscription tiers are described on our Pricing page.

2. Fair Use and Abuse

Our server capacity is shared among all users. Automated scraping, malicious botting, or attempting to overload our backend servers is strictly prohibited and may result in an IP ban or account suspension without prior notice.

3. Third-Party Integrations

Chessions integrates with Chess.com and Lichess APIs. By using "Sync Recent Games" or "Import from Chess.com/Lichess", you agree to abide by their respective Terms of Service. We are not responsible for the availability or accuracy of data from their APIs.

4. User Accounts

You may create an account via Google OAuth to save your PGN history, FEN bookmarks, and analysis data. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account. We reserve the right to terminate accounts that violate our policies.

5. Payments, Subscriptions & Billing

Premium subscriptions are processed through our payment partners: Paddle (paddle.com) for international customers, and TriPay for customers in Indonesia. By purchasing a subscription, you authorize us to charge the applicable fees through the respective payment processor.

Subscriptions auto-renew at the end of each billing cycle unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date. You may cancel at any time by emailing admin@chessions.online with the email address you used to purchase. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — no partial refunds for unused days. We may require additional verification to confirm your identity before processing a cancellation.

If a payment fails, we will attempt to retry the charge. After multiple failed attempts, your Premium access will be suspended until payment is successfully processed. We reserve the right to downgrade accounts with overdue payments to the Free tier.

All prices are displayed in Indonesian Rupiah (IDR) and are inclusive of applicable taxes. Paddle handles VAT/GST compliance where required. TriPay is a licensed payment service provider in Indonesia; please refer to their terms: TriPay Terms of Service.

6. Refund & Cancellation Policy

You may request a full refund within 14 days of purchase if you have not used any Premium feature (analysis, puzzle, video export, or template). To request a refund, email admin@chessions.online with your transaction ID.

If you purchased a monthly subscription, requesting a refund also cancels your subscription so you won't be charged again. If your request is approved, your Premium access will be revoked and you will not be charged for future billing periods.

Refund requests made after 14 days, or if Premium features have been used, will not be honored. This includes situations where you are unsatisfied with the analysis results or template output — we encourage you to try the Free tier before upgrading.

Refunds are processed through the original payment method and may take 5-10 business days to appear depending on your bank or payment provider.

7. Price Changes

We reserve the right to change subscription fees at any time. Price changes take effect at the start of the next billing cycle. We will notify existing subscribers via email at least 14 days before any price increase.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties & Limitation of Liability

Chessions analysis (Stockfish output, move classification) is automated guidance, not absolute truth. Image-to-FEN detection may occasionally misinterpret low-quality images. These tools are provided for educational purposes only.

Free services are provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. Paid services are warranted to function as described on the Pricing page. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising from paid services is limited to the amount you paid in the 12 months preceding the claim.

We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use our services.

9. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. The "Last Updated" date at the top of this page indicates the latest revision. Your continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
